A bit about me

Hello and welcome to my page.

I am a keen carp angler and have been since 2011. My stepson Jordan asked for a lift 1 day to a local lake and I kindly agreed. Armed with a day licence, a carbon stick with 2 different coloured tips, a pint of red maggots (14yr olds say these are the best to use) and a packet of sausages to cook, we were on our way. 5 Rudd, 2 perch and a netfull of roach later and the pun was set.....I was clearly hooked. Fast forward 6 years and I was all kitted up with the best quality carp gear my budget stretches too and in the back of the net was lying a 38lb 9oz on mirror carp. The biggest in the lake. Who'd have thought it.....an adrenaline junkie who loves rollerblading streets and skate parks taking up fishing. A sport that has you looking at the sun glazed water wondering what lies beneath the surface to being hunched up in a sleeping bag in the middle of a cold and frosty winter.
I have started this blog page as a diary of fishing trips and sessions for myself to read back over. As an open person with a good group of friends around me, I like to share my stories with all and this is my way of passing on my stories and experiences to a wider audience.

I hope you enjoy and I would be very grateful for any comments left

'till next time...

Carper Dee
